There’s lots happening in Brighouse, we have our Brighouse Food and Craft Markets three times a year, with over 70 stalls full of local goodies. We’re now have a Brighouse 40s Weekend on the calendar, on the first weekend in June, with re enactors, vintage civilian and military vehicles, vintage market, full size replica spitfire, fairground, steam train rides and much more. All year round we have great shopping in Brighouse with our fantastic independent shops, so there’s never been a better time to visit Brighouse, Yorkshire.
Brighouse is in the heart of West Yorkshire, between Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield and has great transport links so is really easy to get to, whether you are travelling by road, bus or rail. Our town centre is compact and flat so is a great place for disabled visitors.
Brighouse is less than a mile from Jct 25 of the M62.
There are a number of car parks around Brighouse Town Centre and are well signposted and within easy walking distance.
Brighouse is well served by a number of bus services that run into Brighouse Bus Station which is right in the centre of Brighouse, less than 50 metres from the Festival
Brighouse Railway Station is to the south of the town centre and is only a 5 minute walk. There are direct rail links from Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Liverpool and York on the Transpennine route. Grand Central run a direct service from London, several times a day.
